The next step in bringing Jude Bellingham to the Santiago Bernabeu will be soon taken by Real Madrid.
The Merengues are putting together their first formal offer to give to Borussia Dortmund. But even as they compete for the Bundesliga championship, they will show respect to the Black and Yellows.
In the past several years, Jude Bellingham has made a name for himself as one of the top young midfielders in the world.
The 16-year-old English wonderkid gained notoriety after playing a crucial role for Birmingham City FC. And ever since he joined Borussia Dortmund almost three years ago, his reputation has skyrocketed.
In the previous three seasons, the 19-year-old was among the top players in the Bundesliga. And he is having a fantastic 2022–23 season so far, tallying 14 goals and seven assists in 42 appearances.
However, Bellingham's time at Dortmund will come to an end this summer, and Real Madrid is his most likely next stop.
This month, the Merengues hope to complete the 19-year-old's transfer. Additionally, since the two parties have already finalized the deal, personal terms won't be an issue.
Presenting Borussia Dortmund with the opening offer will be the next action taken by Real Madrid.
In the midst of the Bundesliga championship that should come down to the wire, Los Blancos will show respect to Borussia Dortmund.
And near the end of the season, Dortmund will probably receive the first official bid. Real Madrid's proposal, meanwhile, will come with extras to make the deal more enticing for the Black and Yellows.
