Las Vegas Golden Knights, Dallas Stars for Clarence Campbell Bowl

For the Clarence Campbell Bowl and a chance to advance to the Stanley Cup Final, the Golden Knights will compete against Pete DeBoer, their former head coach.

The Dallas Stars defeated the Seattle Kraken on Monday, 2-1, to advance. For DeBoer, who led the Golden Knights from 2019 to 2022 and compiled a 98-50-12 record, it will be a bittersweet return home.

Deboer led the Knights to consecutive appearances in the Western Conference Finals in 2020 and 2021, where they fell to the Dallas Stars and Montreal Canadiens, respectively.

With a 43-31-8 record in DeBoer's final season, the Golden Knights missed the postseason before he was replaced by Bruce Cassidy.

The winner of Monday night's Game 7 of the playoff series between the Dallas Stars and the Seattle Kraken will face the Vegas Golden Knights in the Western Conference Final.

The Dallas Stars defeated Seattle 2-1 to advance to the seven-game series against the Golden Knights. At T-Mobile Arena, the first and second games will be held on Friday and Sunday, respectively.

After defeating the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 in Game 6 of their second-round playoff series on Sunday, VGK secured a place in the conference final.
