With a thrilling Game 7 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Monday, the Dallas Stars advanced to the NHL Western Conference Final.
Dallas won the series 4-3 with a 2-1 victory at American Airlines Center thanks to goals from Roope Hintz and Wyatt Johnston.
The Dallas Stars last won the storied trophy in 1999, and this will be their first trip to the conference final since 2020, where they will play the Vegas Golden Knights.
After the game, Stars coach Peter DeBoer told reporters, "It was our best team game of the playoffs," extending his perfect record in Game 7s to 7-0.
"I was confident that our team would bounce back from the Game 6 defeat. They have been doing both individually and as a team all year, and they didn't let us down.
In his first season as a coach, DeBoer made NHL history by guiding four different teams to the conference final or semifinal round of the postseason.
