The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat, 116-99, in Game 4 on Tuesday night.
Jayson Tatum had 34 points and 11 rebounds, Derrick White and Jaylen Brown each chipped in 16 points, and the Celtics avoided elimination from the Eastern Conference finals.
The Celtics, who still trail the series 3-1 but have decided to send it back to Boston for a Game 5 on Thursday, scored 14 points from Grant Williams, 12 from Al Horford, and 11 from Marcus Smart.
Miami led by nine points in the second half before being outscored 48-22 in a 14-minute span, which completely changed the game and perhaps the series.
Jimmy Butler scored 29 points for Miami. If Boston can extend the series one more game, Game 7 will be played there as well.
For Miami, Gabe Vincent had 17 points, Caleb Martin had 16, and Bam Adebayo had ten. Boston made 19 for 45 three-pointers compared to the Heat's 8 for 32, a huge 33-point disparity in three-point percentage.
150 teams have attempted to come back from a 3-0 deficit in a best-of-seven series, but all 150 have failed.
