The New York Yankees begin a two-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday (7:07 p.m. ET) at Rogers Centre after splitting a four-game set with one American League East rival.

Over the course of the weekend, New York (23-19) went 2-2 at home against first-place Tampa Bay, with three of the four games being decided by a single run.

Before losing an 8-7 decision on Sunday, the Yankees had won five of their previous six games overall.

Toronto (24-16), which swept National League East-leading Atlanta in three games last month, is coming off a two-game sweep of New York.

According to the most recent MLB odds from Caesars Sportsbook, the Blue Jays are -170 favorites (risk $100 to win $170) and the Yankees are +143 underdogs. The total runs scored has a 9.5 run over/under.
